1. Purpose & scope
These Terms set out the conditions under which Kazuma Sasaki (operator of tradeanderror, hereafter "we") provides the web service "tradeanderror." By using the service you are deemed to have agreed to all the provisions of these Terms.
2. Definitions
- "Service": all features and content of tradeanderror that we operate
- "User": anyone who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service
- "Early registrant": a person who joined the wait list before general release
- "Paying user": a user on a future paid plan
- "Content": data the user records or uploads to the service (clips, journal entries, entry logs, etc.)
- "Intellectual property rights": copyright, patent, trademark, design, and similar rights
3. Account registration & management
A valid email address is required. By registering, you represent and warrant that:
- You are 18 years of age or older
- You are not a member of any anti-social group (an organized crime group as defined under Japanese law)
- The information you provide is true, accurate, current, and complete
- You hold no more than one account
- You will not share authentication credentials with any third party
4. Early registration & preview access
Early registrant benefits
- 20% lifetime discount (continues for as long as the account is active; non-transferable)
- Priority access to preview features
- Direct feedback channel to the development team
Conditions
- Applies to users who registered an account at general release using the same email used to join the wait list
- Cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash
The early-registrant discount rate is preserved across price changes, except where the Service is discontinued.
Functionality and specifications may change without notice during preview-access periods.
5. Pricing & payment

- All prices are shown in Japanese yen, tax included.
- Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled. Cancel via the relevant platform (App Store, Google Play, Stripe, etc.) by the day before the next billing date.
- We generally do not refund payments already made, except in cases we deem appropriate (e.g., a serious operational failure caused by us).
- We may change prices and plans with prior notice. Changes apply from the next billing cycle.
6. User conduct
You agree not to:
- Violate laws or public order
- Infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any third party
- Engage in unauthorized access, reverse engineering, or interference with the Service
- Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or otherwise inappropriate
- Use the Service to provide unregulated investment advice to others
7. Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights in the Service belong to us or our licensors. You retain rights in the content you create and upload, but grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display that content for the purpose of operating the Service.
8. Service changes & termination
We may change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at our discretion. We will give reasonable advance notice for material changes where practical.
9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is." We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for damages arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.
10. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Japanese law. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction of first instance for any disputes.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms with notice on the Service. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
