Common issues

"My clip plays on PC but not on my iPhone"

This was a known bug — the rolling buffer was dropping the MP4 init segment, so iOS Safari refused to play. Fixed in the latest release. If you're still seeing it, hard-refresh the dashboard (⌘+⇧+R on Mac, Ctrl+F5 on Windows) and re-record one clip.

"I recorded but no clip appeared in Triage"

Most often: the recorder hadn't accumulated 1 second of data when you clicked save. Wait 2 seconds before clicking the side button next time. If it persists, check the browser console for a [rw] error and email it.

"The Chrome extension says 'no permission'"

Chrome ≥119 requires explicit screen-share permission per tab. Click the puzzle icon → tradeanderror → "always allow on this site" and reload.

"My account says I'm signed in but the dashboard is empty"

Almost always a stale Supabase session. Open /dashboard, sign out, and sign back in via Google.
