Lawful bases
We process personal data on the following lawful bases:
- Performance of a contract — providing the Service you have signed up for (account creation, clip storage, billing).
- Legitimate interests — operational logging, abuse prevention, product improvement (always balanced against your rights).
- Consent — non-essential analytics cookies and marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligations — tax records, lawful requests from authorities.
Your rights under GDPR
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
- Erasure ("right to be forgotten") — request deletion
- Restriction — request that we limit processing
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Object — to processing based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing
- Withdraw consent — for any consent-based processing, at any time

International transfers
Some of our service providers (Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, Resend, Google) are based in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA/UK, we rely on each provider's published GDPR compliance posture, including Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. See our privacy policy for specific retention periods.
Automated decision-making
We do not engage in automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you within the meaning of Article 22 of the GDPR.
Complaints
If you believe our handling of your personal data violates GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We would also welcome the opportunity to address your concerns directly first.
